Epicinium
Turn-Based Strategy w/ Environmental Impact
Strategy
Released (Steam)
Is it worth winning a war when you end up conquering dirt and ash?

Technical Details
A turn-based strategy game where your actions have a meaningful impact on the game's ecosystem. Nature is a finite resource. No need to wait for your move, thanks to fast, simultaneous turns. Your economy and troops are influenced by the environment and increasingly severe weather effects. Is it worth winning a war when you end up conquering dirt and ash? Epicinium is a turn-based strategy game with environmental gameplay mechanics. During the day, players give orders and watch their units execute them. At night, cities grow depending on the number of grasslands and forests surrounding them. Building industry provides more income and allows for the production of tanks, but industry rapidly increases global warming to ludicrous levels. At the end of the game, the winner is scored for whatever's left of the world at that point. An indie effort made by the small team of A Bunch of Hacks.
Music, Composition & Official OST
An Ensemble of Four Seasons - An original arrangement that chronologically features the four in-game season loops, welding them together into one grand musical movement that underlines the grand narrative of the game.
The official title track tries to bridge the gap between a Chiptune Aesthetic and a higher quality Orchestral Production.
In this bundle you can hear both at the same time, or exclusively listen to the individual versions.
All versions you hear in-game are included as part of the bundle.
Includes two bonus tracks: An Ensemble of Four Seasons [orchestral version] and What Goes Up Must Come Down (Beta Title Theme) [CanPixel remix].
