Privacy Policy

MonoSplit is an offline video editing application. Your videos, audio, photos, projects, captions, and transcripts are processed on your device.

MonoSplit does not require an account and does not collect, sell, or share personal data with advertisers. MonoSplit does not use advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, tracking, or cloud upload services.

When you grant access, MonoSplit may access selected photos, videos, audio, and microphone input solely to provide editing, recording, transcription, captioning, and export features. Media processing, including speech transcription and background removal, occurs locally on your device.

Projects and generated media remain in the app's local storage and are removed when you delete them or uninstall the app, subject to normal device backups managed by your operating system.

On Android, MonoSplit may show a foreground-service notification while an export is running. This notification is used only to keep you informed about the export and to allow it to finish reliably while the app is in the background. It does not collect or transmit personal data.

If you allow notifications, MonoSplit uses that permission only for app-related information, such as export progress or completion. You can change this permission at any time in your device settings.

MonoSplit may open an external website when you explicitly tap an external support link. That website has its own privacy policy and practices.
